Interpretation and Definitions

  • Company ("We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Quantum World Ventures Private Limited, headquartered at World Trade Center, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
  • Service refers to the Quantum World Ventures website (quantumworld.in) and any advisory position, research engagement, consulting, or other service We provide through it.
  • You means the individual, or the organisation on whose behalf they act, accessing or using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms form the agreement between You and the Company. By using the Service, You agree to be bound by them; if You disagree, please do not continue to use the Service. Use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of our Privacy Policy.

Our Services

Through the Service, the Company presents information about, and allows You to enquire or apply in connection with, our Quantum Imaging & Sensing research, QAI Centre of Excellence and L&D programs, Technology Consulting, Incubation Program, Courses & Workshops, Fellowship Program, Careers, and Investor/partnership engagement. Submitting an application, enquiry, or registration does not by itself create a binding contract — any such arrangement is finalised separately, directly with our team.

User Conduct

When using the Service, You agree not to submit false or misleading information, use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair it, attempt unauthorised access to its underlying systems, or use automated means (bots, scrapers) that disrupt normal use.

Links to Other Websites

The Service may link to third-party websites not owned or controlled by the Company. We assume no responsibility for their content or practices, and advise You to review their own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Service — text, graphics, the Quantum World Ventures name and logo, and images — is the property of the Company or its licensors. You may not reproduce or create derivative works from it without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

Termination

We may restrict or suspend Your access to the Service, without prior notice, if We reasonably believe You have violated these Terms.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all such warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Karnataka, India. Any concern or dispute should first be raised informally by contacting the Company directly.

Severability & Changes to These Terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. We may revise these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes Your acceptance of it.

Role-Specific Terms of Engagement

Where You engage with the Company in a specific capacity — such as a Research Advisor, Consultant or Partner Institution — additional role-specific terms apply alongside these Terms. Research Interns are governed by a dedicated Internship Terms & Conditions page, kept separate from the summaries below.

Terms of Engagement — Research Advisor

This summary forms part of the Invitation and Offer Letter issued to members of the QWV Research Advisory Committee, and governs the advisory position.

  • Nature of engagement: Advisory, academic and research capacity, non-exclusive unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Publications & IP: Public output from QWV-associated work is discussed with QWV first. IP developed under a QWV-led project belongs to QWV unless agreed otherwise; pre-existing IP remains with its original owner; a student's academic ownership of their own work is never compromised.
  • Confidentiality: QWV's research, data, and proprietary information stay confidential, both during and after the engagement.
  • Financial terms: This advisory position does not by itself entitle the Advisor to fees; any paid engagement is agreed in writing beforehand.
  • Termination: Either party may end the engagement with reasonable written notice; confidentiality and IP obligations survive termination.

Terms of Engagement — Institutional Collaboration

This summary governs an institution's Expression of Interest (EOI) and any subsequent collaboration with QWV under the Institutional Collaboration programme.

  • Non-binding EOI: An Expression of Interest is a preliminary, non-binding statement of intent and creates no legal or financial obligation for either party.
  • Discretionary review: Submission of an EOI does not guarantee collaboration; QWV reviews and responds to every application at its own discretion.
  • Formal agreement follows: Any actual collaboration is governed by a separate, mutually signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Engagement Agreement setting out specific terms, deliverables, timelines and confidentiality obligations.
  • Confidentiality: All information shared as part of an EOI or collaboration discussion is treated as confidential and used solely to evaluate and deliver the collaboration.
  • Validity: A submitted EOI is valid for 90 days from the date of signature, and may be renewed by mutual agreement thereafter.
  • Scope: Collaboration tracks — Internships, Learning & Development, Research & Development, and Consulting — are each scoped individually in the governing MoU; this summary does not itself authorise any specific activity.
